NEC Article 725-Cost-Effective Control Wiring

The authors consider Article 725 of the National Electrical Code with regard to the limitations imposed and the advantages provided by this section of the code. The Article’s applicability in hazardous environments is considered. The installation, application, and transient protection of communications cable for instrumentation circuits is also outlined.
